It’s been a while… come see what’s happening at Boreal Ranch

A lot has changed around here.

It feels like it has been a very long time since we sent out a proper Boreal Ranch newsletter.

Honestly, we've been busy.

The past couple of years has brought a lot of growing, building, experimenting, learning — and a few things we never quite expected when we started this little farm.

We've expanded the gardens. We've grown more food and are exploring flowers. We've raised more chickens and turkeys. We've opened the doors to L'Herberie Greenhouse Boutique. We've welcomed people to the ranch for events and gatherings. And we've spent a lot of time thinking about what we want Boreal Ranch to become.

At the heart of it all, we're still trying to do the same thing:

Grow good food. Care for the land. Create a place where people can connect.

And now we'd really like to invite you to come see it for yourself.

🌾 OPEN HOUSE AT THE RANCH

Saturday, September 12 • 9 AM–5 PM

We're opening the ranch for a full day of wandering, exploring and catching up.

There will be fall mums (pre-order at our online store - https://lherberie-boreal-ranch.square.site/,) pasture-raised turkeys and chickens, a selection of giftware, and farm tours throughout the day.

But mostly, we want you to come see what we've been up to.

Walk through the farm. See the gardens. Meet the animals. Ask us questions. Hear about some of the things we're experimenting with and the plans we're dreaming about for the future.

We're still figuring out exactly what the day will hold — and that's part of the fun.

We've curated a beautiful selection of fall mums this year and we're offering them for pre-order online so you can reserve yours and simply pick them up when you visit.

Orders close Wednesday, September 9th.

🦃 FROM OUR FARM TO YOUR FREEZER

We'll also have our pasture-raised turkeys and pasture-raised chickens available for purchase at the Open House.

If you've been waiting for one, this is a good time to come by.

So come out for a visit - the Lac du Bonnet Harvest Festival is also happening, so you can make a day of it.
