The best time to experience this place is June, when the greenhouse is truly in its glory.

You walk through the doors and you're immediately surrounded by the smell of lavender, rosemary and all kinds of delicious herbs. There are butterflies floating around, beautiful plants everywhere, and little gifts and treasures tucked throughout the space.

And then there’s the sunshine.

After spending a long Manitoba winter bundled up inside, there’s something pretty wonderful about standing in a warm greenhouse, with the sun shining down and your face feeling that little bit of heat again.

L’Herberie really came about for two reasons.

First, Megan always wanted a greenhouse.

And second, we wanted to give people the opportunity to grow something a little different.

There are so many incredible varieties of herbs and plants that you simply don't find at your typical local greenhouse. We wanted to offer a diverse selection of culinary, medicinal and unique herbs so people could discover something new for their own gardens.

And over time, L’Herberie has become more than just a place to buy plants. It’s become a place to wander, get inspired and discover something you didn't know you needed.
