And this is one of the newest pieces of Boreal Ranch—the Boreal Provision House.
This year, we're beginning to bring an idea we've had for a long time to life.
But it's actually more than a provision house. It's becoming our farm hub.
The vision is to create a central space for the things that currently happen all over the ranch—and, honestly, a lot of them happen in the ranch house!
We're working toward having commercial kitchen space, walk-in fridge and freezer capacity, and proper storage for the products we grow and make here.
And that's important because right now, the ranch house is doing a lot of jobs that it wasn't really designed to do.
Our goal is to eventually move the farm's storage and food operations out of the house, freeing up the ranch house so it can be repurposed for other enterprises and experiences.
The Provision House will also be where we can bring together farm-grown food, natural living and thoughtfully curated products—both from Boreal Ranch and from other people we believe in.
So while this space may look like a simple farm store today, we see it as a really important piece of the future of Boreal Ranch.
It's infrastructure, it's a gathering place, it's a place to sell what we produce—and it's another step toward turning this collection of ideas into a truly integrated farm.
We're just getting started.
